United Way GAC's Medical Equipment Assitance Program
Because sometimes people can't afford the medical equipment needed to improve their quality of life. Our United Way serves as storage, intake, and dispenser of these things.
In 2014, we provided 127 individuals with essential medical equipment ranging from crutches, wheel chairs, bedside commodes and more.
Equipment is donated by generous individuals and families in our community.
Recipients of the medical equipment MUST have a referral from one of our referral agencies.
United Way works for a Healthier America

By reducing preventive illnesses, we can cut everyone's healthcare costs. Healthy eating and physical activity are essential to good health.
