Recently, I decided I wanted to make a difference in the world in which I live. I researched local volunteer opportunities and realized there was a great need for volunteers throughout the United States. I then set a personal goal to visit 48 states in 48 weeks and offer my services to various non-profits agencies and organizations along the way.

My volunteer experience in Greenwood, SC was very rewarding as I helped serve meals at the local Soup Kitchen and stocked shelves at the Greenwood County Food Bank. Working with volunteers and consumers has given me an insight as to the many pressing needs in communities throughout the United States. As I continue my quest to visit every state, I am proud to say this is how I LIVE UNITED.
